To follow up our fabulous trip to Europe, Mike and I flew from Europe to California to spend a few days with family and friends. I flew a more direct route - Paris to London to LA. Mike took a slightly longer route - Paris to Copenhagen to Atlanta to Houston to LA. Since his company had sent him to Denmark, his return flight was from Copenhagen to Atlanta to Houston. We just complicated things by being in Paris and wanting to end in LA. After flying more than 24 hours for Mike and 12 for me, we arrived safely in LA.
We spent some time with my family and then drove 4 hours to San Luis Obispo for our friend's graduation. It was great as witnessed by our photos.
Photo 1: Mike and Rory taught Josh to do "the best pose in the world" when he was 5, so they were just going back to old times.
Photo 2: All of Rory's friends and family who went to San Luis Obispo to see him graduate...finally.
